Conrad Bora Bora: Hotel Review

Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora
Mount Otemanu

Bora Bora, a place so nice they named it twice. Just kidding, I don’t know if that’s true, but the Conrad Bora Bora Nui is the real deal and I’m here to tell you all about it.

Arrival

Your journey begins with a private airport transfer from Motu Mote Airport by boat. The wind in your hair is the perfect introduction to the oasis that is Bora Bora. The short transfer takes less than 30 minutes and you’re promptly greeted with a cool towel and fresh drink to wash down your long travel day.

Property

The property is absolutely breathtaking with it’s sprawling boardwalks and overwater bungalows. One of my personal favorites was the bicycles that are all around the property. We cruised from one end to the other almost daily just to smell the taire Tahiti flowers and see the colorful fish swimming beneath the boardwalks.

Food Options

  • Iriatai French Restaurant
  • Banyan Chinese Restaurant
  • Tamure Beach Grill-(Highly recommend the truffle risotto! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.)
  • Upa Upa Loung Bar- Excellent cocktails! The sushi is truly fresh.
  • Tarava Pool Bar

Amenities

The Conrad Bora Bora certainly doesn’t skip on the amenities. Just a few of my favorites were:

  • Hina Spa
  • Water activities: paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling
  • Land activities: 18 holes mini-golf, billiards, beach volleyball
  • Local cultural activites: How to open a coconut, coco leaf braiding, ukulele lessons and many more

Service

The service was pleasant and refreshing. Our bungalow was always spotless, espresso restocked daily and the staff was genuinely happy to see us wherever we went. I think most people head to Bora Bora to truly relax and recuperate and the service catered around a calm and refreshing environment, absolutely refreshing.

Accomodation

Saving the best for last: the rooms! We stayed in a king-deluxe overwater villa and it was spectacular. Everything about it was a dream. The carefully thought out layout, massive round tub and grand shower were just a few highlights. My personal favorite was the deck and lounging nets. I would wakeup every morning and have espresso and watch the sunrise over Mount Otemanu.
